Caribbean Shrub
A rum highball with Jamaican rum and rhum agricole, a strawberry-balsamic gastrique, and cane syrup. It is very sweet and moderately strong at about 16% ABV.

Short shake all the ingredients with 3 ice cubes, then strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with the half strawberry and serve with a straw.
